Burnout is yesterday. Meaninglessness is the new disease.

Why more and more successful people are empty inside — and what this has to do with the system we live in.

He knows multibillionaires. He knows craftsman families. And he says: The craftsman families are often happier. Mathias Gottwald speaks about emptiness, numbing, frequencies — and about why no money can be made with healthy people. Sabrina Kowalski listened.

Mathias, burnout has been a topic for years. Everyone talks about it. But you say the real problem isn't burnout — it's something else. What do you mean by that?

MG

Mathias Gottwald

Burnout comes first. That's true. Exhaustion is the first stage. But what comes after that is something completely different — and much more dangerous. The emptiness. And emptiness means: 0. The end. When you're exhausted, you at least still notice that you're fighting. When you're empty, you don't fight anymore at all. You just exist. That's the difference. And this difference is invisible to most people — because the system we live in ensures that you don't see it.

Ed. note: Personal assessment by Mathias Gottwald.

"Emptiness always means: 0. The end."

Sabrina Kowalski

When does this emptiness arise?

MG

Mathias Gottwald

When there's no foundation. That's the core. Anyone who has a real foundation — values, connection, love, community — can become exhausted. But they won't become empty. Because there's still something there that carries them. Emptiness arises precisely when the foundation is missing. When you've pursued the wrong things for years. When you've functioned instead of lived. When you've had success — but never really yourself.

SK

Sabrina Kowalski

Materialism, possessions, success — you know multibillionaires personally. Are they happier?

MG

Mathias Gottwald

No. I know multibillionaires, millionaires, extremely successful entrepreneurs internationally. And I know craftsman families in Bayern. And I can tell you: The craftsman families are often happier. Not because they have less. But because they have authenticity. Love. Compassion. Friendship. Community. Belonging. These are the things you can't buy. And that's exactly why many who are very successful are still incredibly empty inside. And then they try to numb this emptiness with all kinds of things.

"I know craftsman families who are happier than multibillionaires. Because they don't lack foundation."
SK

Sabrina Kowalski

What are these numbing agents — specifically?

MG

Mathias Gottwald

Everything. Really everything can become a numbing agent. Alcohol, drugs, consumption — those are the obvious ones. But power, greed, hunger for success — those are numbing agents just as much. Because with them you don't have to look at your problems. You can define yourself through external things. And the most dangerous thing — what's least recognized as numbing? Social media and the need to be seen. In my personal assessment, this is one of the most effective addictive substances of our society. Attention as a drug. And when the addiction is rewarded with money — keyword influencer — then a spiral emerges that I personally assess as one of the most dangerous of our time. When you break it off, you often miss nothing afterwards.

Ed. note: Personal assessment. Not a medical evaluation.

"The dosage makes the numbing. Of everything."

You built YIG.CARE. What's really behind it?

MG

Mathias Gottwald

My own life journey. My own path into exhaustion. My own path into emptiness. And the realization that the classic system offers no real anchor — because it doesn't want to offer one. In this phase, I intensively studied the topic of frequencies. And noticed: Frequencies change something. With me. Noticeably. My mental fog dissolved. My organism came back into balance. Digestion, sleep, energy, clarity — there wasn't a single area of my life where conscious work with frequencies didn't make a difference. That's my personal experience — not a promise, not a medical statement. But an invitation: Try it yourself.

Frequencies — you speak of a system that actively works against inner balance. What's behind it?

MG

Mathias Gottwald

Everything we perceive is frequency. That's physics, not esoterics. Light is frequency. Sound is frequency. Thoughts are frequency. Most frequencies we're exposed to daily — through media, screens, social networks — are in my personal conviction not randomly designed this way. Nikola Tesla, one of the most significant inventors in history, according to the assessment of many historians and researchers, left behind insights that are still not fully recognized today — possibly because they run counter to existing economic interests. That's my personal interpretation. I can't prove it. But one may question it. And when you start questioning, you realize: Less money can be made with healthy, balanced, internally free people than with exhausted, dependent, emptied ones.

"You don't make money with healthy people. In my conviction, that's the real reason why inner balance is so rarely actively promoted."
SK

Sabrina Kowalski

What can frequencies specifically achieve?

MG

Mathias Gottwald

From my personal experience: Frequencies can support inner balance in the rest phase. Frequencies can improve state sensations. Frequencies can help to return to one's center faster. When I start with positive frequency work in the morning and create the same moment in the evening, I have, according to my personal perception, gained several hours back for myself daily — despite everything happening outside. This isn't a miracle cure. This is daily practice. Like sports. Like nutrition. Like everything that works — it works through continuity.

"You can never have enough positive frequencies."

Why does YIG.CARE only cost 1 euro per day?

MG

Mathias Gottwald

Because it's not about capitalizing. It's about everyone being able to use it. One person, one day, one moment, one frequency. That's the idea. My personal wish would be for YIG.CARE to eventually work with health insurance companies — preventive health instead of reactive treatment. That probably won't happen because it doesn't serve the existing system economically. But imagine: If insurance companies actively ensured that people stay healthy — instead of waiting until they become sick. That would be real prevention. That would be Power to the People.

"Power to the People. That's YIG.CARE."
SK

Sabrina Kowalski

Last question. Someone reads this. 34 years old. Functions. Earns money. Has a family. Sleeps poorly. Feels nothing anymore. What do you say to this person?

MG

Mathias Gottwald

Since you're officially already dead — when do you start living? Your killer is the system. You can't help it. But you can change it. The question is only: Do you want to continue leading your life in emptiness — or do you want to finally start filling it? No longer functioning, but living in fulfillment. Not earning money, but receiving money because you're doing the right thing. And if you've done everything as you always have — and aren't happy: Show no fear. And tomorrow do everything differently than you've ever done it.

"Tomorrow do everything differently than you've ever done it."

YIG.CARE — Your Inner Glow

One person. One day. One moment. One frequency. For 1 euro per day.

Assessment in one sentence

Burnout exhausts you. Meaninglessness kills you. And the difference lies not in you — but in the foundation you allow yourself to build.
