IT IS NOT A JOB CHANGE

Moving to the next position is an operational decision. A real realignment is an identity decision. Who am I beyond the role? What do I really want? What can I no longer do? These questions need depth work, not an application strategy.

IT BEGINS WITHIN

Before something can change on the outside, something must clarify on the inside. Values, strengths, sources of energy, points of pain, life phase. With you we build the inner clarity from which the outer decision can be made cleanly — without acting out, without fleeing.

IT IS A PROCESS, NOT A MOMENT

Real realignment takes time. Three to six months as a Build format, often longer. Most mistakes happen when people skip this phase — and then experience the same again in the next role. Depth needs time. And time is the most effective investment.

Career realignment is one of the most frequently misunderstood coaching fields. Most people arrive with an operational concern: „I need a new position.“ Or: „I want to change industries.“ Or: „I am ready for the next stage.“

In most cases, this is not the actual question. The actual question lies underneath: who am I when I am no longer what I was? What do I really want? What identity construction have I built that no longer carries me? Which values are non-negotiable for me — even when uncomfortable?

We work on two levels simultaneously: deep within (identity, values, energy, inner truth) and pragmatically without (market options, transition architecture, financial planning, communication). Both belong together.

Methodologically we connect transition psychology by William Bridges, career anchors by Edgar Schein, identity work, values clarification, systemic reflection and pragmatic market strategy. What counts is not the theory — but that, by the end, you know what you want, what you can do, what it really costs and how to arrive there cleanly.

How does career realignment differ from application coaching?

Application coaching works on the next position. Career realignment works on the next identity. We go deeper — values, meaning, life phase, inner truth. An application strategy can be a by-product, but it is not the goal.

How long does a real realignment take?

Sprint (4 weeks) for first clarification in acute phases. Build (8 weeks) as the standard. Retainer (3 months) for full transition support. Real realignments often need 6 to 12 months — from first clarification to stable arrival in the new.

What if I don't yet know what I want?

That is normal — and often the starting point. Building precisely this clarity is what we do together. Whoever already knows what they want usually does not need realignment coaching, but rather support with implementation. Depth work begins in not-knowing.

Can you also accompany the phase after an exit?

Yes — post-exit support is one of our key areas. The phase after a sale is psychologically complex and often underestimated. We accompany the redefinition of identity, family-office setup and the design of the next phase across 6 to 12 months.

What does career realignment cost?

Sprint from €2,900, Build from €7,500, Retainer from €15,000 (B2B net). Long-term mandates (Gold+) on request. Market rates for senior career coaching in DACH range from €5,000 to €20,000 per quarter.

How discreet is your work?

NDA standard. Career topics are particularly sensitive — current employer, headhunters and family must learn nothing. No cases shared externally, no logos. Discretion is the foundation that allows real clarification to emerge.

What if I end up staying in the old position?

That too is a valid outcome. Sometimes clarification reveals that the change is not the right lever — but rather a shift in inner posture, in boundary architecture, in values clarity. That is not failure. That is clarity.

Do you also work with people before the age of 50?

Yes. Career realignment is not age-dependent. We work with clients between 35 and 75. What counts is not age but that you stand at a real turning point — and that you want depth, not only strategy.
